Dave is a Licensed Lay Minister (Reader) in the Anglican Church based at St. David Childwall in the Diocese of Liverpool. He is also a member of the Third Order of The Society of St. Francis, having joined in 1998, making his Profession in 2001.
He Works on a part time basis with disaffected youth in an Inner City Youth Club. Dave Also works part time for the Diocese of Liverpool as an Officer for the Post Initial Ministerial Education (PIME) of Readers.
His Christian and Franciscan vocation has lead to an interest in Peace and Social Justice issues.
When not involved in the above Dave follows his passion for history. Along with his family he takes part in Living History events throughout the country and abroad. Dave’s particular area of interest is the 15th century, a period of upheaval and change, but also one of great learning.
Dave has been married to Gill for 37 years and they have three grown up daughters and four grandchildren.
